KP Architects Ltd is a design led architectural practice, which strives to achieve the very best synthesis of modern architecture and interior design appropriate to the client’s specific project budget. We will work closely with the client to determine their needs and aspirations in everything from the building itself to bespoke furniture and fittings, as required.

KPA specialise in residential and small commercial buildings or refurbishments and have extensive experience in obtaining difficult planning permissions and listed building consents on dense urban sites. We are skilled in making the best of each situation so as to maximise and add value to the finished project.

The director, Kasia Piotrowska, will bring her experience of dealing with both planning authorities and building contractors to every assignment. Kasia also works closely with some of the best structural and mechanical engineering consultants and is used to co-ordinating and administering a full design team.

director

KASIA PIOTROWSKA BSc Arch, AA dipl., RIBA

Kasia graduated from the Bartlett School of Architecture and Planning at UCL with First Class Honours and RIBA part I. She then studied at the Architectural Association and graduated with AA Diploma and RIBA part II. Following RIBA part III professional practice exams she became a qualified architect in 1988.

Kasia gained experience by working in several leading London and international architectural practices for over 10 years.

Some of the work included: UK Apple Computer HQ in Stockley Park, fit-out of Credit Suisse in Canary Wharf and Goldman Sachs interiors while with Studios Architecture; Fort Belvedere interiors, extension and outbuildings while at John Stefanidis, The Square restaurant with David Collins and The Highway warehouse apartments at CZWG Architects.

In 1997 she founded Formwork Architects with Jeremy Peacock.

Formwork thrived for over 22 years creating homes for private clients, high end house conversions for boutique developers, West End dental practices, office interiors, shops and art galleries.

In September 2019 Kasia set up KP Architects to carry on projects with existing clients and develop new relationships.

In addition to running Formwork Architects Kasia was an architectural advisor for Arts Council England and part-time tutor and external examiner at the American Intercontinental University in London.

Kasia is a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects and registered with ARB.
